Just a quick one for now, and then I’ve got to hit the hay. Have you ever dropped a pin or some other small object on the floor and had a hard time finding it? Then try this little trick. Get a flashlight and turn it on, then turn out the overhead lights. Get down on the floor (not on your knees, if you’ve dropped a straight pin!) and lay the flashlight down on its side. Now move the light around, with the beam just kissing the floor. When it hits something that sticks up from the floor, you’ll see it reflect the light. You’re liable to find all kinds of things you never knew were down there.
